Michael Stokes Paulsen (University of St. Thomas School of Law) has posted Our Perfect, Perfect Constitution (U of St. Thomas Legal Studies Research Paper No. 11-03) on SSRN. Here is the abstract:
In this short article, Professor Paulsen explains how our Constitution is perfect and how every Supreme Court interpretation of the Constitution is also perfectly perfect. He proposes modest clarifying changes in the written text of the Constitution to bring it into more perfect union with the Supreme Court's perfect interpretations.
A piece that only Mike Paulsen could have written. Both funny and guaranteed to piss off those who disagree. But as always with Mike's sarcasm and parody, there is an important message here.
